Collection value and where it comes from

How Kilito values every item, what the tags mean, and how the Collection value tile adds it up.

Graded coin next to a price tag, comparing sold prices, asking prices and price guides

Kilito looks at real sales and live listings for your exact item, then picks one value and tags it so you can see how solid it is.

What the tags mean

  • ✓ 4 sold: 3 or more close matches sold in the last 90 days. The strongest signal.

  • 2 sold: fewer matching sales, or older ones within 12 months.

  • 3 listed: no sales found, so the value comes from what sellers are asking right now. Asking prices aren't sales.

  • ✦ AI est.: a value range AI gave from the photos. A starting point.

  • Your value: a value you typed yourself.

  • Melt: the metal value at today's spot. The floor, not a market price.

How Collection value adds up

Each item is counted once, from its best source:

  1. Real sales, or a value you typed

  2. Online listings, less 15%

  3. AI estimate

  4. Melt value

Silver and gold never count below melt. Items with no value at all are listed as Not priced yet with a link to fix them. Tap the tile to see how many items came from each source; each count is a link that filters your list.

Collection value details

Spent to date

Under the big number you'll see Spent to date: what you paid for everything, in stock and sold. Tap the tile for the split, plus selling fees and shipping on sold items (shown separately).

Silver and gold move with spot

The spot bar shows live gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Bullion values follow spot automatically and melt floors update on every silver and gold item. No credits used.

Keeping prices fresh

Prices older than 30 days are marked Stale. Tap Comps on any row, or ⋯ → Update market prices to refresh many items at once.
